Description
Our organic St. John's wort essential oil for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the species with the botanical name Hypericum Perforatum. In international practice the oil is designated as St. John's Wort organic essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The oil is a mobile liquid whose pale yellow tone comes from the flowers of the plant. The flowers also define the olfactory side, in which the herbal base, the warmth and the light sweetness run together in a common structure. Steam distillation gives this side purity, which is why the aroma remains warm and soft in strength. The warm softness of the aroma comes from a composition that remains fully organic. The organic composition allows no preservatives or colourants, since the raw material grows under organic farming. The farming keeps the volatile fraction in its natural form, and scientific research on the species identifies the sesquiterpenes as the leading group of compounds in its composition. The leading group of compounds shapes the advantages of the product, along with its pure origin. The advantages are also evident in the selection of the flowers, which reach extraction at the full flowering stage in the summer months of the year. Flowering takes place on the plantations located in Bulgaria, and from there comes all the raw material. The country lies within the natural range of the species, whose boundaries botanical sources place between Western Europe, the North African regions and the lands of China. The family Hypericaceae includes the species among its perennial herbaceous representatives. The liquid consistency of the St. John's wort oil remains mobile throughout the whole volume.
